Capitol City Conservation Club is a not for profit private fishing Club. We have property located in Indianapolis with a 30 acre lake. You can use a small boat with electric tolling motor (no gasoline motors) on this lake.
We also have property located 5 miles south of Bargersville, Indiana or 4 miles west of Franklin, Indiana with 3 farm ponds on about 125 acres.
We offer fishing, camping and several activities for our members. We are a family oriented club with an Easter egg hunt for the children and a picnic, pig roast, weenie roast, fishing rodeos and more.
Geared for adults and children alike. If you need a place to just get away and relax for awhile our club is it.
FISHING AND CAMPING
We have Large & Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Trout, Channel catfish, big Blue Cats, Flathead catfish & even Carp and Grass carp for our carp fishermen.
Just imagine a private place for you to go fishing or camping. Camping is allowed on weekends at both properties. Your membership to this club includes your wife/husband and your children & grand children under 18 years old. You must be a member to be on the property. No guests are allowed. Remember—It’s a private club.
CLUB ACTIVITIES
In late winter (March) we have a BEAN DINNER with all the fixings supplied by the club. Along with the beans some members bring in pots of chili, white chicken chili, green beans-sausage & potatoes, meatloaf, corn bread, a variety of salads, desserts — you name it. Some real good eating at this event.
The EASTER EGG HUNT is next — GREAT event for the kids.
Two FISHING RODEOS (tournaments) — One at each property
A PICNIC in June with a cookout on our grills including hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, smoked sausages and chicken - with salads, soda & water all supplied by the club and a pitch in by our members.

All the above is included when you join our club. You can fish everyday and camp on the weekend – No additional fees –
We also have catfish and carp contests during the summer.

Hours of operation:
Monday through Thursday – 6am to 10pm
Open Friday at 6am and close Sunday at 10pm
Holiday: Open all night the night before the holiday.
The weekend is when we allow all night fishing and camping – Friday night and Saturday night (Sunday night if holiday falls on Monday).
