ABOUT US >>

Capitol City Conservation Club is a not for profit private fishing Club. We have property located in Indianapolis with a 30 acre lake. You can use a small boat with electric tolling motor (no gasoline motors) on this lake.

We also have property located 5 miles south of Bargersville, Indiana or 4 miles west of Franklin, Indiana with 3 farm ponds on about 125 acres.

We offer fishing, camping and several activities for our members. We are a family oriented club with an Easter egg hunt for the children and a picnic, pig roast, weenie roast, fishing rodeos and more.

Geared for adults and children alike. If you need a place to just get away and relax for awhile our club is it.

FISHING AND CAMPING

We have Large & Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Trout, Channel catfish, big Blue Cats, Flathead catfish & even Carp and Grass carp for our carp fishermen.

Just imagine a private place for you to go fishing or camping. Camping is allowed on weekends at both properties. Your membership to this club includes your wife/husband and your children & grand children under 18 years old. You must be a member to be on the property. No guests are allowed. Remember—It’s a private club.

CLUB ACTIVITIES

In late winter (March) we have a BEAN DINNER with all the fixings supplied by the club. Along with the beans some members bring in pots of chili, white chicken chili, green beans-sausage & potatoes, meatloaf, corn bread, a variety of salads, desserts — you name it. Some real good eating at this event.

The EASTER EGG HUNT is next — GREAT event for the kids.

Two FISHING RODEOS (tournaments) — One at each property

A PICNIC in June with a cookout on our grills including hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, smoked sausages and chicken - with salads, soda & water all supplied by the club and a pitch in by our members.

A PIG & WEENIE ROAST In September

A WEENIE ROAST in October

All the above is included when you join our club. You can fish everyday and camp on the weekend – No additional fees –

We also have catfish and carp contests during the summer.

If you have any questions about our club or how to join, email us at capitolcityconservationclub@outlook.com or go to Contact page on this site and fill in info.
