I have been fishing these tournaments for years with very little success (non existent before last year). Today felt different from the start. I weighed my first fish for the Capitol City Conservation Club Catfish tournament with 10 hours left to go. My weight held up all day. I took first place, trophy and $$$! I'm so excited about this. Thanks Westside Bait and Tackle for the prize donations. And a special thanks to Debra Sater for the bait. Me and my new buddy Michael (Andrew) caught 15 catfish between us on your donated shrimp. He was fishing in his first ever tournament at age 13 and weighed in at sixth place. He received a medallion for placing in the top ten, beating out some very good and experienced fishermen! It was an awesome day at the lake!
